The accurate interpretation of the assessment results is the most important pre-requisite for the effective planning of any therapeutic intervention, [treatment].

A variety of therapy approaches are available to the Therapist in order to provide a comprehensive service for the individual child.

Typically, a Therapist may use a neuro-developmental, sensori-motor, perceptual-motor or a sensory-integrative approach. Other approaches include bio-mechanical, cognitively directed or an eclectic approach.

Where indicated, ‘Therapy in Praxis Limited’ will provide ongoing documentation and periodic re-evaluation of progress and will modify the therapy plan accordingly.

Important Information For Assessment

The child needs to wear trainers or plimsols and loose fitting clothing for the assessment appointment.

Assessment can be extremely demanding - please make ‘Therapy in Praxis Limited’ aware of any contra-indications, [ epilepsy, diabetic, etc.].

Please be aware that failed appointments, without prior notification, may incur a charge.

It would be helpful for the evaluation / data analysis that any relevant medical or educational reports / information are made available.
